Strength and Bad Investments

I read a post somewhere that said, among other things, that the person needed the Bible for strength or that he'd be lost without the Bible. Well, I have to say that strength comes from within. Trying to get strength from other people, dusty old books, or magical invisible men in the sky is like using a wheelchair when there's nothing wrong with you. You have everything you need to be strong in any situation. The problem is that many of us have been trained since childhood that we need something outside of ourselves for strength and self-esteem.

And the whole "I chose the correct religion and everyone else is going to hell" idea is kind of like thinking that everyone who didn't buy Google stock is going to hell. "Sorry, you invested in the wrong company. It sucks to be you. Try to have fun splashing around in the lake of fire or floating in the black void or whatever the latest theory my cult leader has about where you sinners are going."

It will be so funny if we find out that everyone goes to 'Heaven' no matter what they believed or what the did while on Earth. It would totally piss off atheists and people who belong to any small or large cult such as Christianity.
