Asperger's and Stereo Vision Links
I've been told that people who've had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) can have problems similar to Asperger's Syndrome (or can have Asperger's Syndrome) and that same brain damage can also cause binocular vision problems. If you have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or something similar and have 3D vision problems, ask your family if you ever had a bad fall as a child. My mother was punched in the stomach when she was pregnant with me and I slipped while running when I was two years old and hit my head on a really hard cement-like floor, so my problems could have started at either point. It won't solve anything knowing what happened to you, but at least you'll know the probable cause of your problems and can quit wondering.
Some people wonder if thimerosal is one trigger of Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Most experts want us to believe that thimerosal is completely safe. How can it be? Thimerosal is mercury-based. Mercury is a neurotoxin. Similar to what Don Imus has said, if we discover without a doubt that thimerosal does not trigger Autism, it must do something. It's a neurotoxin after all. It seems that avoiding mercury and other neurotoxins is a good idea, even if some experts claim that there isn't enough evidence of harm.
