Free Online Games at Random Terrain - Take a break and play a game

Below is a collection of games that I like to play once in a while. Before I add a game to this section, it doesn't have to be the best game in the world, but it must meet a certain level of excellence.

The immediate area around each game is ad-free so you can concentrate on the game, relax, and have more fun. I've been told that many people can play these games at work during lunch and other breaks because these pages haven't been blocked, unlike other more famous game pages.

You might notice that the title of each game on every game page is clickable now. You can left click on the title and your browser window will jump down so the top of the game is lined up with the top of the window. I did that to make it easier, so you don't have to scroll down manually.

Connect 2

This is a Flash game that faintly reminds me of a version of Shanghai that I played on the 3DO. This game has sound, but you can mute it.

Lucky Balls

A Flash game that is similar to the arcade game Puzz Loop which spawned clone games such as Zuma, Luxor, and Lucky Balls. This game has sound which can be muted.

Governor of Poker

Governor of Poker

A Texas hold'em style game. This game has sound effects that can be muted.

Robo Chess

After years of searching off and on, it was nice to find a single-player online chess game. The robot talks and there is no mute button.

The Rise of Atlantis

I finally found one of those match three or more in a row type of puzzle games (similar to Bejeweled) that is good enough to have on my web site. This game is pretty fun. Sound can be muted from the menu.

BrickShooter Egypt

This is one of those games where you click on a brick on the side to slide it toward the center to clear other bricks. I didn't like it at first, but after playing a few levels, I thought it was pretty good.

A magical mix of classic gameplay ideas with innovative twists. Sound can be muted from the menu.

Web Sailor's Othello

Othello

A nice little Othello game with an undo button. Doesn't seem to have sound.

5 Spots

A spot-the-difference game that has random pictures and differences so you never get the same game twice. This game has sound and no mute button.

Wipeout

People who loved the surfing part of California Games on computers such as the Commodore 64 might especially enjoy this game. There doesn't seem to be a way to mute the sound.

BrainJar Blackjack Bonus 21

Blackjack

Pretty good Blackjack game that doesn't take 20 years to load. Only has sound when asking about insurance and shuffling the deck. I edited this game to give the player a bonus whenever he or she wins with 21.

Similar to the arcade game. Has sound effects.

BrainJar Tail Gunner

Zap the spaceships before they zap you. Has sound effects.
