Similar to the classic arcade game. Has sound effects that can be muted with the M key.

When you finish playing this game, check out the other free online games in this section. I only include games of a certain quality that I like to play once in a while. You won't find any stupid celebrity drunk driving games here. The immediate area around each game is also ad-free. I'll never have any of those distracting, irritating animated ads around these games like you see at other web sites. You can just focus on the game and relax.

How to Play

Wait for the applet and sounds to load, then click on the applet area and press the S key to start.

Shoot the asteroids while avoiding collisions with them. Occasionally a flying saucer will appear and attempt to shoot you down with guided missiles. Destroy it or the missiles for more points.

You begin with three ships, a bonus ship is awarded for every 5,000 points scored.

Start Game = S	Pause Game = P	Toggle Sound = M
Fire Cannon = Space Bar	Rotate Left = Left Cursor	Rotate Right = Right Cursor
Hyperspace = H	Forward = Up Cursor	Reverse = Down Cursor
Toggle Graphics Detail = D

Scoring

Large Asteroid = 25 Points	UFO = 250 Points
Small Asteroid = 50 Points	Missile = 500 Points
