Miscellaneous Cool Stuff
Random cool stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else.

If you know about or have created an invention yourself that I might want to put on one of my Futuristic Inventions and Cool Stuff pages, please let me know about it. If I think it's cool or useful enough, I'll add it to my site as soon as possible. Remember, there has to be a web page, web site, blog, or YouTube video about it that I can link to. Thanks.

Note: I will not invest money in your invention, so don't ask. I also don't require you to donate before adding a link. If I like it, I'll link to it.

Moissanite

Moissanite at Helzberg

I never understood the desire so many people have that makes them want to own diamond jewelry, especially with the negative things attached to diamonds such as child slave labor. Well, thanks to man-made moissanite, people can have the sparkle without the guilt. Moissanite has a more brilliant sparkle than diamonds and it's affordable (a fraction of the cost of diamonds).

I don't usually like jewelry and diamonds never interested me, but moissanite is so beautiful that even I am tempted to buy some moissanite jewelry for myself just so I can look at it every day. I'll never forget when I walked into a Helzberg Diamonds store and saw moissanite jewelry for the first time. It was almost like a religious experience. Finally, jewelry that truly impressed and surprised me. Once you see with your own eyes that moissanite has two–and–a–half times the fire of any diamond, you want to buy moissanite jewelry for yourself and everyone you know.

Adjustable Tray Table

Table-Mate

It seems most people who have used a Table-Mate agree that it is a great product. It folds flat and the angle and height is adjustable. There are different versions of the Table-Mate, so you should be able to find one that fits your space and needs.

There are many uses for the Table-Mate: eating, playing games by yourself or with another person, reading, arts and crafts, using a laptop computer, and more. Kids can also use the Table-Mate for eating, playing games, drawing, coloring, painting, and so on.

I've been wanting to get one of these for years.

SmudgeGuard

SmudgeGuard

Have you noticed that your hand will start to perspire while writing or drawing? The ink or graphite starts to adhere to the moist skin of your hand, causing smudges and re-smudges to appear on the paper. The sweat also slows down writing or drawing because sweaty hands tend to stick to paper. SmudgeGuard keeps the sweaty hand away from ink or graphite and allows your hand to glide over the paper more easily. The outer fabric remains dry, making it less likely to re-smudge the paper.

SmudgeGuard works the same way a smock or apron would. It is worn as a shield to protect the side of your hand and pinky from unwanted smudges. As an added benefit, SmudgeGuard also eliminates the friction between your hand and the surface of your work so your hand glides easily over paper and graphics tablets. As you can see, whether you work with paper or graphics tablets, you need SmudgeGuard.

Lifelike Breathing Puppies and Kittens

Pet Nap Puppy

The lifelike little Pet Nap puppies and kittens aren't just cute, they look like they're breathing! Since they're affordable, you might want to buy one or more for yourself and a few others as gifts.

The doctor my mother goes to has one in the waiting room and it has been working perfectly since at least October of 2007. It was one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. I was across the room and I thought it was fake at first, then I saw it breathing and wasn't so sure. I wondered why a doctor would have a puppy in the waiting room. I asked about it and found out that it really was fake and that it was called a Pet Nap Puppy.
